Mural: Alice and the Porteño Rabbit

frente-entero“Alice y el conejo porteño” (Alice and the porteño rabbit) is a project I did in Buenos Aires on a front wall of a remodelled house by architect Céline Mignot (www.ba75.fr , www.ba75.com.ar)  in Colegiales neighbourhood.  “Porteño” refers to anyone coming from the port of Buenos Aires, in particular, it invites you dive into Buenos Aires cultural roots of the tango.

Try reading again “Alice in wonderland”, you’ll figure her astonishing trip is not pink at all, she most of the time suffers misunderstanding, but always stays open and moves forward in the adventure.

This painting is a tribute to all adventurers who left their home country to discover a marvelous world, persuing a dream.. or a rabbit.
